7. Overcompensation Mode (РЕЖИМ-ПК)

Last updated Jun 13, 2026, 4:21:30 PM by just.jiu

PK mode is an emergency power reduction mode that activates automatically under two conditions:

  • when an AZ-1, AZ-2, or AZ-3 signal is issued,
  • or when both AR-1 and AR-2 simultaneously fall outside their measurement range, rendering AZM ineffective.

When active, PK mode takes control of the LAZ rods to drive power down. If LAZ is not enabled, it falls back to the PK-AZ rods instead.

The mode is not self-cancelling — once the emergency condition is resolved, the operator must disable PK mode manually using the white button on panel 3A at their own discretion.

While PK mode is active, AR probes cannot be blocked, ensuring the flux monitoring picture remains complete during the emergency.
